- The Pre-application is available at the Application link above. Pre-applications can also be picked up from the brochure box outside the Imani Village management office located at 1400 Todds Lane, Wilmington, DE 19802. Please contact us if you need one mailed to you.
- Pre-application MUST be filled out in its entirety to be eligible for housing (one pre-application per household).
- Pre-application MUST BE submitted via US Mail to: Imani Village, PO Box 9507, Wilmington, DE 19809
- If you are not a returning resident, a non-refundable $25 application fee per adult household member (including live-in aide) paid via money order or certified funds is required for the credit and criminal background screening, payable to: Imani Village
- No walk-ins are permitted at this time. The Imani Village leasing office will reach out to schedule an appointment with qualified applicants.
Imani Village is a brand new mixed-income family rental community in Wilmington, DE. It marks the beginning of a multi-phase redevelopment of the city's northeast Riverside community, in partnership with The WRK Group’s vision (The Warehouse, REACH Riverside, and Kingswood Community Center), and the Wilmington Housing Authority. This initiative is in direct correlation with Purpose Built Communities and its nationwide mission of uplifting concentrated areas of urban poverty.
Residents enjoy an inviting community center, on-site management and maintenance, community garden, a tot lot, and gazebo. All residents will have access to on-site supportive services. The location allows residents to quickly get to downtown Wilmington, or locations north or south with easy access to I-95, I-495, and I-295. Imani Village offers residents close proximity to urban amenities such as shopping, dining, and entertainment.
