Pennrose was recognized as a Healthiest Employer by the Philadelphia Business Journal. This was the fifth time that Pennrose has received this recognition. The award recognizes the company for its commitment to employee health and for achieving exceptional and sustainable success through a broad range of company and employee wellness initiatives.

Dambly, president of Pennrose. “Our goal is to provide support and resources for any kind of health and wellness needs employees may have, promote healthy lifestyles, and support a positive work/life balance.”

The Philadelphia Business Journal partners with national company Springbuk to evaluate and assess the companies nominated for the Healthiest Employers program. Employers complete an online assessment. Applicants receive a Healthiest Employers Index (HEI), a 1-100 metric to measure their program, that is based on six values used to judge each company: Vision, Culture/Engagement, Learning, Expertise, Metrics, and Technology.
