Pennrose Announces the Retirement of Kathi Garrone

It is with a variety of emotions that Pennrose announces the retirement of Kathi Garrone from the position of Vice President of Compliance. Kathi joined Pennrose in June 2015, since then, her contributions to Pennrose have included:
- Leading and mentoring the compliance team.
- Completing a portfolio-wide project to locate and review all deal docs, revise Yardi when needed, and create template and a site sheet for each stabilized portfolio deal.
- Establishing procedures within the department to update market rents and process gross rent changes timely with accuracy.
- Working with property operations to establish and enforce minimum income guidelines for all properties in an effort to reduce bad debt.
- Creating a LIHTC Compliance Manual.
- Establishing standardized compliance procedures that satisfy all state agencies and investors.
- Working to clear a significant amount of non-compliance that existed when came to PMC in 2015 and establish and maintain positive relationships with state agencies, investors, and HUD.
- Acting as the 504 and HUD Secure Systems Coordinator.
Following her official retirement in May, Kathi will continue to support Pennrose as a consultant.
