Pennrose Launches Nonprofit Charitable Foundation

Pennrose, a leader in multifamily development and management, has launched the Pennrose Foundation, a nonprofit charity organization. A coinciding initiative, Pennrose Reaching Out (PRO), has been created to engage and recognize employees that participate in the charitable activities of the foundation.

The Pennrose Foundation will further enhance the company’s mission of transforming communities by supporting organizations and events that benefit seniors, wellness initiatives, and the communities surrounding Pennrose locations across the company’s footprint in the Eastern and Midwestern portions of the United States.  

“For the last 40 years, we have dedicated ourselves to changing lives through quality housing,” said Mark H. Dambly, President of Pennrose.  “As we have continued to grow, so has our commitment to supporting initiatives that enable our residents, employees and neighbors to thrive. The Pennrose Foundation is a natural next step to further our company mission of improving the communities we serve.”

The following individuals have been identified as officers of the foundation: Mark H. Dambly, president; Patrick Brala, treasurer; Carrie Holak, secretary. The directors will be: Patrick Brala, Carrie Holak, Shannon Mowry, Lee R. Reedy, and R.J. Saturno.

The activities of the foundation will be largely determined by the Pennrose Reaching Out committee and ambassadors, which are comprised of company employees covering a broad array of disciplines and regions. The committee and ambassadors are currently identifying organizations and volunteer opportunities to support with the first events focused on hunger relief. Each quarter, PRO will focus activities to support a different cause.
