Access to meaningful Supportive Services for families, seniors and persons with disabilities is a critical component in ensuring full and satisfying lives for the residents of affordable housing communities.

In each of our Pennrose-managed communities, our Supportive Services Department builds collaborative, partnering relationships with a broad spectrum of local service provider agencies. We focus on identifying needs, coordinating and linking our residents to appropriate services, and assisting them in securing these services, which include:

• Addressing the barriers that impede a families’ progress toward greater self-sufficiency.
• Prolonging our senior residents’ ability to live independently.
• Providing youth with the tools to succeed in both school and life.
• Increasing self-esteem and self-empowerment.
• Creating opportunities for resident employment with Pennrose Management Company
• Assisting to uphold lease obligations.

Offering comprehensive and consistent services produces an environment that truly enhances the quality of our residents’ lives, both as individuals and as a community. Supportive Services also helps alleviate the challenges most common to affordable housing, such as: high turnovers, rent delinquencies, property damage, vacancy losses and evictions.
